In times of great need, presenting The Red Arrow was the way Gondor summoned its allies. Its flights were black and its barbs were made of steel, and it took its name from a mark of red painted on the arrow's tip, standing for blood to show the situation was serious.  Brave warriors of all races loyal to Theoden, King of Rohan and to the ideals and traditions of Rohan formed a secret sect, Order of the Red Arrow who at all cost would protect and defend those ideals and traditions in times of great evil. Arrowmen are  proud and wilful,  true-hearted, generous in thought and deed; bold but not cruel; wise and kind, singing many songs of their adventures.

Long live the Order!!  May tales be told and songs sung of the nobel warriors who answered the call of the RED ARROW!!
